Intekras and Core Security Technologies Forge Partnership… July 1st, 2010 Intekras and Core Security Technologies of Boston, Massachusetts announced today that they have entered into a value-added re-seller relationship for the award-winning suite of Core Security’s penetration testing tools. In this relationship, Intekras shall re-sell Core Security’s flagship product, CORE IMPACT® Pro and the company’s new CORE INSIGHT Enterprise ™ product together with a “service surround” that will assist in configuring the tools, establish penetration testing operating procedures, and translate results into plans of action and/or risk treatment responses. Intekras Provides IT Services to the Commonwealth of Virginia… June 30th, 2010 After a lengthy validation process to determine whether Intekras could field the appropriate resources, experience, risk-assumption ability, and financial stability to service the Commonwealth of Virginia’s IT-based projects, Intekras is now an approved vendor to ZeroChaos, who serve as the Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Information Technology labor needs. This contract will give all public bodies in Virginia access to Intekras’ IT/IA consulting services and staff augmentation. Through ZeroChaos, Intekras is now able to offer the Commonwealth services in the areas of Information Security, IT Risk Management, Project Management, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning, Enterprise Content Management, Workforce Development and Training, and various Back Office Technical Support areas.

Intekras C&A Support at HUD Expanded… November 24th, 2009 As part of its on-going support to HUD's CISO Office, Intekras has been awarded a follow-on contract to perform approximately 30 Certification & Accreditations across the HUD enterprise systems through 2010. Our standard process references the Recommended Security Controls for Federal Information Systems (NIST Special Publication 800-53), and our assessment and evaluation results will be used to support risk-based Authority to Operate decisions and FISMA reporting.

Naval War College Awards Intekras Desktop Publishing Contract For Third Successive Year… October 31st, 2009 Intekras was awarded a one year contract to provide desktop publishing services to the Naval War College (NWC) in Newport. RI. This contract award marks the third consecutive year that Intekras has competed and won, due to our exceptional past performance and competitive pricing. In securing this award, Intekras will keep its current outstanding on-site team in place. Intekras Assesses IT Risk at UOSA… September 25th, 2009 Our Information Security Services (ISS) division has been tapped by
the Upper Occoquan Service Authority (UOSA), a large water treatment facility in Northern Virginia, to provide a full IT Risk
Assessment of their environment, to include both the business
network as well as the plant process control network. The objective of the assessment is to improve IT
functions and develop a continuing IT audit plan. The Risk Assessment
approach used by Intekras will be based on the ISO 2700x standards, and our reports will indicate to our customer their current
strengths and areas of improvement.

Intekras to Perform Enterprise IT Risk Assessment for VDOT… March 11th, 2009 Intekras has been commissioned by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) to execute a suite of IT Risk Management tasks to ensure that their facilities, systems and networks align with internationally-recognized frameworks for IT security. Intekras will perform in three areas. Firstly we will conduct a post-implementation IV&V on the main software application and its support framework to determine if the current system meets the goals, functionality, and performance that the customer requested. Secondly, we will review the network and system failover capabilities, (a) to identify points of vulnerability, and (b) to ensure the viability of the Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations Plans. Thirdly, Intekras will carry out a full risk assessment of all Security Practices using a recognized (ISO) framework, with main focus on the main software applications and their support structures.

Intekras Establishes Strong IA Presence at FEMA… September 26th, 2008 Intekras, as a subcontractor to Northrop Grumman under the EAGLE IDIQ Contract, was selected by FEMA to provide IT Security technical services in support of the CISO – to include the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of a compliance-driven IT Security program. The program objective is to ensure that FEMA adheres to all associated IT Security Federal legislation, regulations and guidelines, departmental policies, procedures, and industry best practices. There will be two sub-programs, i.e. initial compliance and continuous monitoring, and Intekras will place personnel at FEMA to ensure Information Assurance (IA) for their networks, systems, databases, and applications. Our support will consist of C&A Services, Contingency Planning Services, Encryption & PKI, Risk Management Services, Security Policy Development, Security Product Evaluation, Security Architecture Services, Testing Services, and Training Services.

Intekras Chairman Inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame… August 2nd, 2008 Darrell Green, Chairman of Intekras, was today inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame after a career as cornerback with the Washington Redskins that spanned 20-years. Regarded by many as the fastest man ever in the NFL, Mr Green was presented for induction by his son Jared, a receiver for the University of Virginia. On leaving the NFL in 2002, he was free to concentrate fully on the greatest love in his life – the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation, which for twenty years has operated Learning Centers for underprivileged children across the USA. As an astute businessman he co-founded Intekras, Inc. in 2004, bringing the reputation of excellence and integrity from the football field to an emerging business in IT government contracting. Intekras has since grown to become a well-known name in government IT circles for Insight, Innovation and, most of all, Integrity.

USDA-NRCS Awards Additional Performance Standards Development Work to Intekras… July 2nd, 2008 The USDA Natural Resource Conservation Services (NRCS) has awarded Intekras a follow-on contract to facilitate the development of performance standards for two critical positions, which together account for approximately 900 employees. Intekras successfully completed a similar effort last year, and the resultant products are currently being used for three other mission-critical positions. The ultimate goal of the Agency is to have measurable performance standards which will maximize the capability for focusing employee efforts on achieving organizational and group goals and to achieve a “ green” score in the Strategic Management of Human Capital on the President’s Management Agenda.

Intekras Supports NIH with Content Development Tool… May 20th, 2008 The National Institutes of Health (NIH) today chose Intekras to provide multiple licenses for a Content Authoring tool that will support an urgent need for in-house development of training courses specific to their branch of the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS). In addition, Intekras will be scheduling on-site training on best practices and how to get the most out of the software acquisition. NIH will post the new courses to the HHS Learning Portal, which was recently implemented by Intekras for the 70,000 HHS employees and numerous contractors.

Intekras Garners Important Add-On Contract from HHS… March 28th, 2008 The Dept of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded Intekras an important add-on contract to enhance the Learning Management System that was successfully implemented during the course of the last year. The decision to add Performance Management capabilities firmly establishes the Saba People Management system at HHS as a strategic, enterprise-wide facility for the training and development of their 70,000 strong workforce. HUD Taps Intekras for Further C&A Work… March 7th, 2008 Based on our successful Certification and Accreditation of their HSPD-12 PIV systems, HUD today awarded Intekras a follow-on contract to perform similar C&A work over the next few months on six of their major General Support Systems (GSS). The GSS systems include the IBM Mainframe System, HUD Intranet System, HUD Local Area Network System, HUD Lotus Notes System, HUD Internet System and HUD Wide Area Network System. Using the Recommended Security Controls for Federal Information Systems (NIST Special Publication 800-53), our assessment and evaluation results will be used to support a risk based accreditation decision.

Naval War College Extends and Expands Intekras's Desktop Publishing Contract… October 23rd, 2007 Intekras was recently awarded a contract extension to provide desktop-publishing services to the Naval War College (NWC) in Newport, RI. Intekras's exceptional service to the Navy over the years was a major factor in securing this award. With this new contract, Intekras will double its presence at the College. In addition to supporting the NWC, Intekras provides similar services to the Navy Warfare Development Command (NWDC).

Saba Centra is an online learning environment that combines a highly interactive virtual classroom learning, e-meeting, and web seminar platform with a learning content management system to deliver optimal blended learning.

Intekras Provides Systems Engineering Support at Raytheon… September 21st, 2007 Intekras has been awarded a contract by Raytheon IIS to perform system engineering services on the Air National Guard Operations Center project. Intekras will support the project by providing personnel on the project team to perform the following system engineering services:
Project management; system requirements analysis; system modeling analysis; plan and conduct trade studies; perform concept of operation analysis; functional system and interface design; develop and conduct test plans; prepare and conduct formal program reviews.

Intekras Expands Presence at Navy in Indian Head… September 20th, 2007 This add-on contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center (IHDNSWC) in Indian Head, MD will expand Intekras’s existing engineer service support at the base, placing another system engineer on site to support various computer systems. Intekras’s computer system subject matter expert (SME) will be responsible for supporting and maintaining multi-processor computing hardware systems which are part of the Underwater Warheads Analysis Facilities (UWAF) of the IHDNSWC. The SME will provide expert system level support in the following areas:
System level design and implementation analysis; system administration; system diagnostic and resolution; software solutions and system updates; user consultation and application support.

USDA-NRCS Selects Intekras to Facilitate the Development of Performance Standards… September 17th, 2007 The USDA Natural Resource Conservation Services (NRCS) has awarded Intekras a contract to facilitate the development of performance standards for key positions in mission-critical occupational series. The developed performance standards will be used by three mission critical positions which together account for approximately 50% of current NRCS employees. In performance of this contract, Intekras will implement a defined performance development process which includes conducting interviews, reviewing Agency performance documentation and working with the Agency’s leadership to facilitate the development of performance standards. Intekras Joins Lockheed’s IPv6 Transition Pilot Team… August 3rd, 2007 Intekras, Inc. has been selected by Lockheed Martin to participate in the Center of Excellence, a prestigious team of key industry partners brought together to develop a pilot program designed to stimulate the federal government’s transition from IPv4 to IPv6. The pilot program will create a comprehensive transition roadmap for all phases of a full-scale IPv6 migration. IPv6 is the next-generation Internet protocol providing, as one of many benefits, an exponential increase in the number of IP addresses available for networked devices. In 2005, the Office of Management and Budget mandated the entire federal government upgrade from the current Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) to IPv6. The Government Affairs Office (GAO) estimates that the transition will cost the federal government approximately $25 billion over the next 25 years. The Center of Excellence has brought together some of the industry’s elite in a collaborative effort to develop best practices for transition from IPv4 to IPv6, and Intekras is very proud to be a part of this impressive team.

GSA Alliant Awarded – Intekras Teams with SRA…
July 31st, 2007 In a long awaited announcement made today, the General Services Administration awarded SRA a place on the GSA Alliant contract vehicle. In total, twenty-nine awards under this MA/IDIQ were made to major government contractors. The potential value of this contract is $50B, should all of the options for ten years be exercised. Intekras Lands Subcontract with Zolon Tech on State's HITSS IDIQ…
April 10th, 2007 The U.S. Department of State today announced the award of a prime contract in the 8(a) set-aside pool for its Hybrid Information Technology Support Services (HITSS) to Zolon Tech, Inc. Intekras, as subcontractor to Zolon Tech, will contribute to the support of State’s mission at headquarters and field offices throughout the United States and internationally by providing a broad range of IT services. The total award to Zolon for the base year and four one-year options is valued at approximately $90M.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Selects Intekras for Enterprise-Wide Learning Management System…
March 30th, 2007 ‘Team Intekras’, comprising Intekras, Inc. and major partners Saba Software, Inc. and General Physics Corporation, today announced that they were selected by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to provide an enterprise wide Learning Management System (LMS) for all of its operational divisions, including the IHS, NIH, CDC and FDA. The Intekras solution is intended to replace HHS’ legacy LMS for all 70,000 HHS employees, with plans to support an additional 1.2 million contractors in the coming months. The contract, awarded by HHS and the Office of Personnel Management’s GoLearn Program, will be for one year with three option years. Intekras has been a GoLearn partner since 2005, when contracts were awarded in the specialized technical areas of (a) Learning Management and Learning Content Management and (b) Performance Tools and Collaboration.

Naval Surface Warfare Center Awards Intekras $3M Contract to Support Navy and DoD Activities

December 14th, 2006 The Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (IHD/NSWC) has been tasked to provide analytical and operations business and program support to the United States Navy and other Department of Defense (DoD) activities. Intekras will leverage its extensive DoD experience to provide technical services, as required, to support information assurance, continuous improvement, strategic planning process development, direct customer service, employing new technologies in systems and services, communities/activity assistance in solution finding and to foster excellence in business practices. Intekras will also assist the Navy and other DoD activities in assessing, developing and implementing enhanced operating systems, supporting pilot initiatives and evaluating new technology applications. Lastly, Intekras will recommend business process engineering and process changes in accordance with new and continuing consolidation and streaming projects.

VA Taps Intekras for FSSI-related Wireless Service Assessment…
November 9th, 2006 Under the direction of the Office of Management and Budget, the General Services Administration (GSA) has initiated the Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative (FSSI), to develop a wireless device acquisition strategy across agency boundaries. Intekras will be supporting the Veterans Administration with its Wireless Consolidation Project that will provide a better suite of wireless services at a lower cost and in unison with the FSSI initiative. The scope of the project includes financial analysis with a view to savings for VA, carrier-consolidation, and access to new and desired technologies such as PDA, Blackberry, etc.

Trailblazer Health Enterprises and Intekras Awarded Multi-Year IDIQ Contract by HHS/CMS…
October 26th, 2006 The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced the award of a 10-year IDIQ contract to TrailBlazer Health Enterprises (TrailBlazer) and their small team of specialist subcontractors. TrailBlazer was one of only six vendors awarded a place on the IDIQ vehicle. Intekras, as a TrailBlazer subcontractor, will be providing all print fulfillment services (e.g.
order-processing, print-on-demand, warehousing, print-fulfillment, mailing, etc.) that form part of future Task Orders issued under this IDIQ. The IDIQ contract is worth $9B over the ten years and allows CMS
to obtain customer service functions in support of a contact center environment within CMS' Contact Center Customer Service (CCCS) program. CCCS is the overarching program that will guide the creation and consolidation of beneficiary inquiry contact centers.

HUD Selects Intekras to Provide Workforce Assessment for Office of the CIO…
September 30th, 2006 In response to the 2004/2006 IT Workforce Capability Assessment, Intekras will be providing a strategic solution that will enable the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to close skill gaps for four of their mission critical IT activities. We will work with OCIO to compare its current IT workforce capabilities to its future target capabilities and to identify and mitigate specific competency and skill gaps -- using the FEAPMO Performance Reference Model as a guide. Intekras’ assessments and recommendations will ensure that the President’s Management Agenda Human Capital Scorecard requirements are being addressed and that OCIO’s current and planned IT workforce initiatives are reflected.

Intekras Supports U.S.Army Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)…
September 5th, 2006 Adding to our existing contract with SRA International, Intekras will now be providing valuable support on the U.S. Army Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) program at the Hoffman building in Alexandra, Virginia. The Army DLA program is responsible for the worldwide shipment and delivery of all Army packages. Intekras will be participating on an engineering team responsible for the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction software for packages shipped by rail throughout the US and Canada.

Peace Corps Engages Intekras for Security Assessments and Incident Response Support…
August 28th, 2006 Intekras has been awarded a contract by the Peace Corps to conduct immediate security/risk assessments and post trend analyses on their worldwide infrastructure and also to provide ongoing incident response support. Our Professional Security Services group has a long history of successful security assignments for numerous large commercial customers (including several in the Global 50) and will now bring the same expertise and tools (refer to PSS Overview) to bear in providing Peace Corps with a thorough assessment of their current security posture and a resulting hardening of their infrastructure.

SeaPort-e Contract Expands Intekras' Relationship with U.S. Navy…
June 12th, 2006 Building on many years of professional support to the Department of the Navy in Newport RI, Intekras was recently awarded a prime contract on SeaPort-e, the Navy's $79 billion IDIQ vehicle. Intekras will provide program and system engineering management, systems design, software development, IT support services, training & development, and technical documentation generation and management services for all seven area zones nationwide.
Leveraging its strategic partnerships with Northrop-Grumman, Diversified Information Technologies and Saba Software, Intekras will compete on task orders restricted to small business competition in these seven area zones. SeaPort-e IDIQ task orders provide significant opportunity to deploy Intekras’ highly specialized technical services over the next 10 years in support of the federal government’s single largest current IDIQ.
Intekras is already serving in the role of subcontractor to Northrop-Grumman on the SeaPort-e IDIQ.

Included in this expansion are 1,500 square feet for our Executive Suite and approximately 3,000 square feet of highly secure space dedicated to our Professional Security Services division. Intekras Lands $7.2M Multi-Year Contract with the Department of Health and Human Services…
March 27th, 2006 Intekras is very pleased to announce the award of a $7.2M, five-year contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to provide a range of services related to the Medicare Learning Network (MedLearn). With a primary responsibility to educate all healthcare provider types nationwide, CMS’ Division of Provider Information Planning & Development uses education and customer service to build positive business-to-business relationships with physicians, healthcare facilities, providers and suppliers. The new contract covers both product fulfillment services as well as hosting and technical support services for the MedLearn Learning Management System (LMS) and Product Ordering System. The product fulfillment services include maintaining inventory, packaging and mailing MedLearn products such as brochures, pamphlets, videotapes, audiotapes, DVDs and a wide range of publications to the health care community and the general public. The LMS hosting service serves up, on demand and free of charge, a number of courses to a user population of around 50,000.
